When "Interface card not found" message is displayed on the screen.
|
|
The possible causes are:
Interface card is not firmly plugged. Please check whether
the scanner's interface card is firmly plugged in the slot
of computer. It shouldn't be loosely plugged or slantingly.
The I/O address of another interface card (ex. Network card,
MPEG card) is conflicting with the I/O address of the
scanner's interface card. Please change the I/O address of
either card to solve this problem.
The scanner interface card is damaged. Please contact your
dealer for repair or replacement.

That means our driver cannot
receive a correct signal from the scanner. The possible
causes are as follows: The interface card is unplugged.
Please check whether the scanner is firmly connected with
the interface card.
If the connection between the scanner and the interface card
is firm, but the lamp of the scanner is still off, that mean
the scanner might have been damaged. Please call your dealer
for further service.

When "IRQ, DMA are occupied
by another interface card" message is displayed on the
screen.
|
|
The IRQ of the scanner
interface card can be set to 3, 5, 10 or 11. These four
options should be enough for many users' computer
environments. But in case, you have many interface cards,
such as audio card, display card and network card, and have
occupied all these 4 IRQ numbers. Please adjust the IRQ
settings of all interface cards to free one of these IRQ
number (3, 5, 10, 11) for the scanner interface card.

Installing incorrect driver will
cause this problem (i.e., install A2000C driver on A2000D or
vise versa). Please double-check your scanner model when
downloading the driver.
